QA Engineer
We are a small but rapidly growing startup looking for a highly motivated and experienced QA Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of our software applications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure that software applications are free of bugs and meet functional and non-functional requirements
- Identify and document defects and work with developers to ensure they are resolved in a timely manner
- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to ensure that software applications are designed and implemented with quality in mind
- Develop and maintain automated tests to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness
- Continuously improve the QA process and methodologies to ensure high quality and efficient software development
- Monitor software performance and reliability, and work with the development team to troubleshoot issues
- Work closely with the product and project management teams to ensure that all features and requirements are fully tested and meet the expectations of the end-users
- Ensure that all QA documentation is up-to-date and maintained in a centralized repository
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium
- Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or JavaScript
- Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
