What is LifeBrand?
LifeBrand is an AI-powered software company created to empower all social media users to reach their full potential by maintaining a meaningful digital presence. LifeBrand’s user dashboard makes it simple to curate a powerful personal brand by bringing potentially unprofessional or harmful posts to the users’ attention. With ease, users can keep, edit or delete questionable posts that may not represent who they are today.
How do I get started?
If you are an individual, click here to create an account. Connect at least one social media account (Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram) and then press ‘Scan”. Once connected, our AI will quickly identify and bring potentially harmful posts to your dashboard as “flagged posts”. You then have the ability to scroll through them and edit or delete the post.

Courses
Are your courses Nationally Accredited? What does that mean?
LifeBrand received its first National Accreditation from the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE) in 2022 for its Social Media Literacy & Wellness “Professionals” Course (formerly “Social Media Accountability & Awareness”). In 2023, the company received National Accreditation for its Social Media Literacy & Wellness (SMLW) Student course and its Social Media Literacy & Wellness Name Image & Likeness (SMLW-NIL) course which was developed for athletes and micro-influencers.
The Program earned this prestigious designation of becoming Nationally Accredited by submitting an application demonstrating the program’s compliance with ICE 1100:2019 – Standard for Assessment-Based Certificate Programs. ICE 1100 was first published in 2009 as the first standard for assessment-based certificate programs. The Standard is approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) for adoption as an American National Standard.
The Institute for Credentialing Excellence is the leading international membership organization representing the credentialing community. ICE fulfills its mission through the delivery of education and training programs, in setting quality standards for credentialing, and by providing accreditation services.

What is the purpose of the Social Media Literacy & Wellness (SMLW) Professionals e-course?
The “Social Media Literacy & Wellness” e-course (formerly known as the “Social Media Accountability & Awareness” e-course) is the first ever Nationally Accredited social media training for the workplace. Most companies have sexual harassment, diversity, and conflict resolution training throughout the year but there is no current standard for social media education focusing on positive and proper use, leading to an epidemic of damaging and regretful social media content. The purpose of this course is to train all participants on how to positively and professionally represent themselves and their personal brand on social media as well as the larger brand of the employer they are a part of and represent.
Which Certificate course is right for me?
If you are an adult, working professional, executive, college graduate or soon expect to be, then the “Professional” course is for you.
If you are a high school student (or parent of these groups of students) or a student early on in your college career, then the “Student” course (coming soon) is for you.
BULK BUSINESS: If you are a business, company, or organization seeking the SMAA training course for your current and future employees, please contact us at education.lifebrand.life.
Who is eligible for the e-course and are there any prerequisites?
These courses are recommended for anyone who is interested in learning more about how to protect themself, their brand and reputation online. There are no prerequisites to enroll in this course.
What are the learning objectives (learning goals) for the SMLW Student course?
The program level learning objectives for this course include the following:
- Explain what a personal brand is and construct one for positive and professional use
- Create a productive online network for optimal relationships
- Implement positive practices with respect to content sensitivity and ethics
- Understand and execute privacy and protection measures for your information
- Identify and evaluate your own online activity against what employers look for when reviewing your social media
What are the qualifications of those who created this e-course?
Our education team has a wealth of knowledge, expertise and credentials in both academia and business spanning across several industries. We collaborate with a team of industry Subject Matter Experts specializing in the fields of business, education, legal, professional sports, talent management and social media to create high quality content and attainable learning outcomes.
Why does my certificate have an expiration date and why is it only valid for one year?
Most training program certificates are only valid for a short timeframe and require a renewal process. Given the landscape of social media and how quickly platforms and purpose of use changes, it is to the learning participant’s benefit (and to their employers) to refresh themselves with course content so they understand how to best protect themselves, their personal brand and the employer or university they represent. Additionally, our team will make any applicable changes to course content to keep up with the latest research and trends that become available for an optimal learning experience and to further adhere to the program objectives.
How will we know about changes to program requirements and effective date of these changes?
You have the option to “opt-in” and subscribe to receive email updates on program changes. This includes reminders of when your certificate is 90, 60, and 30 days away from expiring along with information on how to re-enroll in the course to renew and maintain an active certificate for future years.
What can be inferred about an individual holding a valid SMLW “Professionals” certificate?
Someone holding a Social Media Accountability and Awareness course certificate communicates to others they have spent time learning and understanding what is okay to post and comment about online against other types of content they should be careful about and avoid. The certificate reflects favorably on the individual who now understands the importance of having a strong personal brand and reputation both in person and online. The certificate indicates those who hold it and those who perform well on the assessment are less of a risk to use social media in destructive and negative ways that could harm their own personal brand as well as the brand of their employer or university while maintaining a positive online presence. A table can be viewed for your reference which shows the connection between program objectives, assessment performance and associated proficiency levels.

West Deptford Middle School Teacher
“After I connected my Instagram and my Facebook accounts to LifeBrand it only took a few minutes for my eyes to be opened up. As a former Division III Athlete, we were always told not to have those “red cup” photos posted online. That mentality was always my view of my Social Media presence. Social Media is such a powerful tool and there is that fine line between what is acceptable and what can be putting you and your brand at risk. I would highly recommend that you give Life brand the chance to help with your Social Media presence.”

“Not only was LifeBrand a fun (and cringey) walk down memory lane but it also was a great asset for cleaning up almost 20 years of social media use. The best part was being able to delete the “offending” posts right from the LifeBrand scan. I would highly recommend LifeBrand for everyone.”
